Gorilla
One of the most known monkeys are huge gorillas which growth can reach 2 m, weighing up to 250 kg. Contrary to the furious appearance and quite impressive sizes, gorillas have very friendly character. They eat exclusively vegetable food – wood, escapes, foliage and roots of trees, and live in tropical forests of the Central Africa. Because of the huge sizes the gorillas cannot climb trees and move only on the ground.
Macaque
Macaques – primacies of the average size with quite brawny trunk covered with dense brown-gray wool live in tropical forests and the hilly terrain of Southeast Asia, Afghanistan and Japan. The muzzle of some types is decorated sometimes by a peculiar small beard. Usually macaques stick groups, and quantity of female individuals in 4-5 times more to the number of males. Macaques are very sociable with each other and express the emotions loud cries and shouts and also a pochesyvaniye and care for wool of fellows.
Capuchin
This group lives in forests on the American continent. This very careful monkey leads an active day life. Unpampered Capuchins in food eat almost everything - fruit, nuts, seeds, various insects, small vertebrata, mollusks, eggs of birds. And Capuchins received the name because of the color reminding on color clothes of monks from the Award of Capuchins. Their second name "monkeys organ-grinders" came from the fact that they very often accompanied speeches of street organ-grinders and vagrant actors. Today Capuchins the most popular breed of monkeys for contents in house conditions.
