Most of children in certain age show interest in the ancestors. Children want to study history some kind of, ask about the great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers. At younger age it is much simpler to child to tell about history of your family in the form of a family tree which you can make together.
Instruction
1. At first prepare necessary information on all relatives famous to you. Write down everything on paper and put arrows from the senior generation to younger on patrimonial communications.
2. Prepare photos. Most likely, photos of most of relatives at you will not be, but you can use the pictures characterizing a kind of activity of the family member. For example, if the great-grandfather was a military, prepare the picture with the image of a tank.
3. Now you can begin to draw a family tree of your family. Take a Whatman paper and represent a big shady tree. The number of tiers has to correspond to number of generations which need to be placed.
4. Count all relatives in your list. Cut out from red color paper circles on number of members of your family. The red circle will symbolize ripe apple which grows on your tree. For reliability paste circles on an album leaf and cut out.
5. On a reverse side of each circle write the handle a surname, a name and a middle name of the family member whom it is necessary the child, a kind of activity and also the city of residence.
6. On the face of each circle paste photos of the relatives corresponding to inscriptions. Try that the photo did not exceed the size of your apples. If necessary, cut off a photo. Before work it is better to scan old photos not to lose finally so expensive print of your generation.
7. Now it is necessary only to place your relatives as relationship. Apply apple with the smallest penis of your family on the top of a tree. Give marks of apple three millimeters lower than the top part three millimeters above its lower part. Draw a thin line by means of a pencil and a ruler. An edge make accurate cuts.
8. Insert an apple with the image of your child into cuts. By the same principle place all family members, observing an order of generations. On branches on the left side arrange relatives in the area of mother, on the right side – in the area of the father. Thus, while the child is not able to read, you can tell him about your relatives, pointing to photos. Later your child will be able independently to get a photo from a cut and to read the necessary information.
