What is mycoplasmosis
Mycoplasmosis is an infectious disease at cats which affects respiratory bodies and mucous membranes. This disease is caused by mycoplasmas of two types: M. Felis and M. Gatae. As a rule, the main symptoms of a disease cats can have a continuous sneezing and puffiness of eyes from which in a consequence purulent allocations begin to follow. At emergence of such symptoms it is necessary to address the veterinarian at once.
As practice shows, mycoplasmosis cannot be cured completely. However, it is just necessary to suspend development of a disease, otherwise the animal will die.
Medicines for treatment of mycoplasmosis
Mycoplasmosis demands long-term and correct treatment. In most cases drugs are injected intravenously or intramuscularly. As a rule, the main medicines are antibiotics. Local medicines are less often used. There are several effective schemes of treatment by mycoplasmosis antibiotics. "Azithromycin", "Ofloxacin", Vilprofen and "Tetracycline" can be their basis Baytril. These drugs (at choice of the veterinarian) are injected once within a week. As all antibiotics perniciously affect the immune system, the medicines stabilizing a condition of immunity are usually appointed. Usually apply Ribotan, Rolioleykin, Tsikloferon and Immunofan. However, antibiotics affect not only the immune system. Therefore for prevention of diseases of a liver use Karsil, digestive tract - Laktobifadol or Bifidumbakterin, for stimulation of a metabolism - Katazol. Except injections of antibiotics and the medicines supporting an organism, for treatment use drops for eyes, such as "Tobredex", Kolbiotsin or "Sofradex". In addition, for treatment of a nose various washing-out solutions are used. Unfortunately, no preventive mycoplasmosis inoculations exist. However, some prevention in house conditions can be carried out nevertheless. As a rule, it is possible to refer preventive visits of the veterinarian, observance of the balanced diet and maintenance of immunity of an animal to such actions. It is important to know if you noticed that your animal got sick, it is necessary to show it to the expert urgently. You should not tighten and think that the disease can pass. Do not wait for complications, each disease it is simpler to treat at an initial stage.
