1. The dry feed is based on the hydrolyzed meat with addition of vegetables, minerals and vitamins. The forage has the balanced character, and when feeding by a dry feed cats do not need additional vitamin fertilizing. You watch only that the cat always had in a bowl a fresh drinking water. It is easy to store a dry feed, it does not zavetrivatsya in a bowl.
2. The dry feed has various producers. For a kitten choose forages only of a super premium class. Such forage really consists of natural ingredients. Unlike forages a massmarket which can consist of processing products. On packing of kitten food there is an inscription Kitten&Junior, and the age of 1-12 months or 2-10 depending on the producer is specified. Some producers write on packing "For all age". It does not mean that a forage bad. But granules of such forage too big for only beginning are independently kittens. It is up to 6 months better to postpone acquaintance to such forage. As optimum kitten food are considered: Hills, Lams, Eukanuba, Pro Plan, Acana (for the bred kittens). On packing forage dosages for each age have to be specified.
3. Transfer of a kitten to a dry feed has to happen gradually not earlier than 2 monthly age. At this age of a kitten feed fractionally several times a day in the small portions. The dry feed begins to be given soaked in water in one of day feedings. Within a week you watch reaction of a kitten to new food: whether there are no allocations from eyes (symptom of an allergy), whether a normal chair whether the kitten is vigorous. If introduction of a forage took place without changes, the number of feedings by a dry feed gradually increase. By 6 months of a kitten it is necessary to feed 4 times a day. In one of feedings it is possible to give a damp forage of the same producer. But it has to be regarded as delicacy more likely.
