One of the most current problems concerning most of aquarians is a removal of undesirable seaweed from an aquarium. Very often to make all attempts it as soon as possible are ineffectual. Each aquarian has to know that different types of seaweed should be deleted from an aquarium differently.
Instruction
1. The Nitchaty seaweed representing the long green threads covering scenery, soil and large plants do not prevent either work of an aquarium, or small fishes. And here they spoil an esthetic impression pretty strongly. To remove these seaweed from an aquarium, take a usual fork and wind them on it as spaghetti. Delete more rigid seaweed manually, accurately cutting off the leaves of large plants shrouded in them.
2. Brown seaweed, as a rule, occupy only a new aquarium and in several weeks after emergence disappear. If it does not occur, settle in an aquarium of small somikov-antsistr. Only they are capable to remove brown seaweed in the mildest terms.
3. Too bright light, surplus of fertilizers and excess of carbon dioxide, postupayemy in an aquarium, promote distribution of the green seaweed representing a velvety fluffy carpet from the bound threads. To get rid of them, weaken intensity of illumination of an aquarium and place in it fast-growing ornamental plants which will compete with green seaweed for nutrients. Get viviparous small fishes, for example, of the guppy and sword-bearers. They will also help you to fight against emergence and reproduction of green seaweed.
4. Emergence of the blue-green seaweed forming a layered film on soil demonstrates strong pollution of water phosphates and nitrates. To get rid of them, use a siphon.
5. To remove the red seaweed forming a red down or long thin threads on its decorative elements from an aquarium, place special pitch which can be bought in specialized pet-shop in the system of filtration of an aquarium.
6. The most undesirable inhabitant of an aquarium is "Vietnamese". She can cover with the dark brushes all surfaces. It is possible to remove these seaweed only manually.
