Aquarium fishes of a skalyariya in the nature live in the medlennotekushchy rivers, swamps and reservoirs of the basin of the central Amazon. They occur among thickets in water plants and among reed. 1. Unfortunately, even at the correct observance of preventive measures of a skalyariya can ache. The wrong conditions of keeping or feedings, stresses, entering of infecting agents together with a forage are the reason of all diseases. At the same time quite often happens that at fishes fins split. To cure small fishes for a start replace water with 30%.
2. Then add to the water which is in an aquarium medicine Cera Baktopur (aquarian water conditioner which operates against rotting of small fishes and also against bacterial congestions in water).
3. Every day change water in an aquarium on 10-20% and add medicine according to the instruction until fins at small fishes cease ""to grow white or be scattered"". It approximately will take three-four days. Every day wash a filter sponge thoroughly.
4. At emergence on a body and also fins of fishes of ulcers or other damages try to use the medicine "Melafix". This medicine is soluble in water and represents extract of the Australian tea tree. It has very high activity against various bacterial and fungal infections arising at freshwater and sea fishes.
5. Before putting recently acquired skalyariya in the general aquarium, at first organize them a quarantine in a separate aquarium for one month. In transit and karantinirovaniya of small fishes and also at each change of water use the special medicine "Stress Koat".
6. After the end of use of medicine, replace water in an aquarium with 50%. Every other day again replace water, also with 50%.
7. If drugs do not help and small fishes ceased to eat, then once a day make bathing of sick skalyariya in rifampicin, Furacilin or the trikhopol for 30 minutes. Thus bathe sick fishes not less than two days. For the third day the small fishes have to have an appetite.
