Water is extremely necessary for any living organism, and cats are not an exception. However even despite all efforts of owners to respect the rules on quantity of drink, the animal all the same can receive less liquid. The fact is that cats who in itself drink a little meet. If the cat does not drink water in enough, on the one hand, it allows its organism to save water by strong concentration of urine, from other party, can pour out in serious problems with health.

- natural drink for pets – water and only it,
- you should not use usual water from under the crane, it is better to give to the pet bottled or filtered;
- natural food and tinned cat's forages consist of liquid for 70-80%;
- if the cat eats a dry feed, she has to drink 2-3 times more water, than quantity eaten during a day of a dry feed.
Observe the favourite for a start. Perhaps, the cat drinks from a bowl a little or in general does not touch it because she drinks up water from under the crane, some vase or a jug. Put in various places of the apartment of container with water of the different sizes and flowers – circles, drinking bowls, saucers.
Choosing the place for the next container with water, you remember that:
- the zone of food has to be as it is possible further from a cat's tray or a toilet if the tray costs there;
- bowls for food and water need to be put at some distance the friend from friends;
- it is the best of all to use tanks from polypropylene or stainless steel;
- it is necessary to wash daily the dishes for drink with soap or in the dishwasher.
Encourage the pet, you praise and iron, call for drink, slightly moistening his pads and a tip of a nose. Put in water its favourite toys that at your favourite the process of drink was associated with something pleasant, positive.
As a last resort add water to norm by means of the syringe, injecting it into a mouth corner. Daily do this procedure and every time after it you praise the favourite.
Test for dehydration
