For birth of new posterity lodge adult and little snails in a terrarium. Huge snails are ready to reproduction of posterity, since six-month-old age. Many individuals for achievement of puberty need more time, about one year. It depends on climate in which the mollusk lives. The embryo can develop from several hours to two weeks. The appeared snails eat the remains from the egg. There live the African snails about 5 years. Happened that the age of akhatin in bondage reached 10 years.
