"King of beasts" lives in savannas, "the hairy woman" – in forests, their ways under natural conditions are not crossed, they cannot meet. In zoos the people, to their honor, do not arrange fights between animals, do not sit down in one cage of these animals.

Because of features of the structure of the voice device of a gorilla cannot talk, however they are capable to communicate in a sign language, have symbolical thinking, sense of humour. The gorilla of Koko in whom scientists of the Stanford university were engaged reached improbable coefficient of intellectual development, within 75 - 93 (for the person the average value equals 90). Any lion of such results will not reach. The chimpanzees who are also belonging to family of humanoid monkeys, living in the East African tropics eat large animals. That to kill them, they apply cunning - break a neck to the production and with a force strike with the head in the earth. Collisions with leopards which often happen at gorillas also usually come to an end with a victory of the last thanks to existence of sharpness.
Muscular force
There are no exact data on strength of a lion. But it is possible to judge it on the fact that he is capable to bear the production approximately equal to body weight. The gorilla male, with an average height of 175 cm, i.e. with a growth of the ordinary person, with little effort transfers cargo weighing about 2 tons, i.e. to ten times more, than its body weight!
