How to spin tress

The tress is several thin locks of the hair weaved in a special way. Similar weaving is called tresovaniye. It is applied to production of theatrical wigs, chignons, braids, curls.

1. Prepare necessary tools and materials. Hair in necessary quantity, tresbank, the card, capacity will be necessary for you for water, the clamp.
2. Perform necessary preparatory work. On desktop fix racks tresbanka, then pull threads on splittings and strengthen the card clamps. It is the best of all to take threads kapron or synthetic that they could maintain influence of chemicals at decolorization and coloring.
3. Reel up threads on splittings of the right rack and strengthen them in the corresponding openings. Stretch the ends of threads to hook of the left rack and fix on it by means of simple node. Remove upper it is caustic and connect all three threads together approximately in two-three centimeters from hook of the left rack, do not less than two nodes which will become the beginning of tress.
4. Turn everyone it is caustic in nest towards winding that all threads have received identical tension.
5. Arrange the card on table near the right rack and strengthen it the clamp. Place in the card hair, and on them – rigid brush obligatory bristle down. Near the card put the container with water which is required for wetting of the tips of the used locks of hair. It is easier to weave the moistened hair, and they are not dismissed.
6. There is tress in one turn and also in two and in three turns. Weaving in one turn: big and forefinger of the right hand push between the first and second thread, taking at the same time heads of the stuffed-up hair, then stretch them between threads forward, then down, and then back under the third thread. Upper thread has to be open, and average and lower - closed by hair.
7. Then again push fingers between the first and second threads and drag heads of hair up and forward.
8. Push big and index fingers of the right hand from below between threads so that the first and third threads were delayed forward, and the second thread - back. Drag heads of lock of hair between threads down. After that take fingers the hanging-down ends of hair and bring up them down, and then thumb hardly bring down all weaving on the left. Thus, weaving of thin tress which forms basis for all other types of pleteniye is carried out.
