Vegetable oils have set of useful properties. They can improve considerably appearance of hair, make them healthier and accelerate their growth by means of intensive skin nourishment of the head.
Castor oil in hair care
Castor oil is produced from fruits of the castor-bean tree growing in East Africa. In the people it is called sometimes "castor oil". This oil well moistens hair, easily solving such problems as excessive dryness and fragility of tips of locks. This means perfectly feeds curls, adding them gloss and elasticity. Castor oil also has beneficial influence on head skin, eliminating dandruff and strengthening hair bulbs.
This means can be used in pure form, without mixing with anything. Castor oil needs to be warmed up on water bath up to the temperature of 38-40 °C. Then means needs to be rubbed carefully in head skin and to distribute on all length of hair. Further the head should be covered with polyethylene film and to roll up towel. In hour, oil is washed away by usual shampoo before full removal of fat film. Such mask can be done every two weeks for prevention of hair loss, emergence of split ends and treatment of dry head skin.
Castor oil is also used for improvement of growth of eyebrows and eyelashes. This means is daily applied on eyebrows and eyelashes by means of the washed-out brush from old ink and washed away in half an hour. The mask from mix of castor oil and vodka in proportion 2:1 strengthens hair and increases their volume. It is necessary to rub this means in head skin and roots of hair two times a week.
Burdock oil in hair care
Burdock oil is received from burdock roots. It can be prepared independently. For this purpose 75 g of root of burdock need to be crushed and filled in with 200 ml of sunflower oil. Mix has to infuse day in the warm place. Then it is cooked on weak fire of 15 minutes, often stirring slowly. The received oil needs to be passed through sieve to get rid of the remains of roots of burdock. Burdock oil improves capillary blood circulation in head skin, feeds roots of hair and strengthens their structure. This means is usually applied on the head in 1-2 hours prior to washing and cover hair with polyethylene film. As well as castor oil, burdock oil promotes acceleration of growth of hair, struggles with dryness of head skin and dandruff, interferes with baldness. The mask from burdock oil and red pepper is considered especially effective. It is necessary to pour quarter of teaspoon of red pepper into 50 ml of oil. The received mix should be warmed up on water bath and to rub carefully in head skin. Further hair take cover polyethylene and towel. In 20 minutes the mask is washed away usual shampoo.
