Since January, 2007 in the territory of the Russian Federation it is forbidden to transport in the car of persons of 12 years which did not reach age without special children's automobile chair. Despite this many careless adults continue to carry the children in cars, fastening them usual seat belts. They do it, without thinking of penalties and safety of own children.
Instruction
1. Choosing children's automobile chair, give preference to the European producers. Especially in this market the German, French, Italian firms are popular. Materials which are used by Europeans for production much stronger and more qualitatively, than at Asian producers. The prices of the European children's chairs, of course, higher. But they are developed taking into account the analysis of various emergencies and a large number of crash tests. Asian producers neglect similar tests since it demands serious expenses.
2. Select chairs according to age of the child. For example, special cradles are developed for babies. For them the framework which is supplied with a soft basis and is sheathed by fabric is designed. For children is more senior (up to four years) special transitional models are created. Something between a cradle and a chair. It is also possible to choose chairs for children of seven and eleven years. These chairs differ in dimensions, opportunities of adjustment and rated weight which they are capable to maintain (up to 25-30 kilograms).
3. Pay attention to the system of adjustment. In a qualitative chair it is possible to arrange width, back height, to adjust side fastenings and the system of support for the head. Check that all fixers of seat belts worked.
4. Choose a chair together with the child if he already was four years old. Let will test it. Seat him in a chair, adjust it under the child. Fix all belts, adjust a tilt angle, height of armrests and the holder for the head. Make sure that to the child it is comfortable in this chair.
5. Track that among the belts used in a chair there were belts with fastening in five points. Only belts of this kind will be able to ensure due safety to your kid and at front blow to protect it from spine injuries.
