It happens so that the child does not want to study, refuses to do homework, systematically receives bad notes. He does not reach for knowledge at all and does not try at all. What to do in that case?
Instruction
1. Find out the reasons of such behavior of the child. Talk to it, let he will tell, how its affairs in school as he communicates with friends. Perhaps, its unwillingness is caused to study that it does not have relations with schoolmates. Analyze own behavior. Perhaps, you too control it? Remember that force of action is equal to counteraction force, and the more you force the child and use force, the more he will resist and not to wish anything to do.
2. You praise the child for his progress, though absolutely small more often. Instead of the system of punishments (or at least together with it) use the system of encouragement. For example, for each received five add 15 minutes by the time of walk or exempt the child from washing judge or other household chores.
3. Limit the time spent of the child at the computer and at the TV. On the computer install the special training programs giving access to games and entertainments only after performance of exercises (for example, on English).
4. Be engaged in development of the child besides study at school. Read together with it aloud, you go to theater, to exhibitions, attend various cultural actions. Discuss read, seen and heard. Tell the child about life of outstanding people, about what they reached and by what price it was given them. Tell stories from the life, from life of relatives, friends and acquaintances.
5. Check, perhaps, your child does not suit the system of training which is used by teachers at his school. Perhaps, he thinks absolutely in a different way, and he is considered by lack of talent and the bad pupil. Study information on ways of representation and giving of a training material, try to explain to the child that they pass in school, it is a little in a different way.
