As the child learns to sit
Many children begin to learn to sit after at them already well it turns out to turn over and hold the head. The muscles necessary for this purpose, develop gradually since the birth, but rather strong become only by five-six months. To age of 8 months almost all healthy children can sit without support. At the correct development the development of skill happens approximately as follows. The necessary muscles begin to develop approximately since four months. The child begins to learn to lift and hold the head in situation "lying on a stomach". Then tries to raise a breast, at the same time leaning on hands. Approximately in 5 months the kid is capable to sit down independently and to sit without support of the adult several seconds. It is useful to put around several pillows that in case of falling the child did not hurt.
When the kid is able independently to sit
Very soon the kid can keep balance in a sitting position, however, at the same time he will lean on one or both hands. About seven months it is executed to the child when he at last is able to sit without support. Such situation for it will be very pleasant: hands are free for a research of a surrounding situation, it is possible to turn in any party and to get the pleasant toy. The child can sit down from situation now "lying on a stomach", at the same time helping itself hands. To sit surely without support, without the aid of the adult it will be able by eight months. The kid can help to learn to sit – for example when he lies on a stomach, to induce to look up, in the parties, drawing attention by means of the sounding toy. Raising the head, a breast, turning, the child learns to control position of the head, strengthens muscles. When the kid learns to sit, leaning on hands, before him toys – have so that he tried to reach them. Tearing off a hand from a floor to try to grasp a toy, the child will learn to keep balance by means of own muscles, but not support.
