It is possible not only to configure modern radio stations, it is possible to be connected to them. The fact is that in addition to traditional air, practically all radio stations broadcast on the Internet. Some radio stations broadcast only on the Internet at all. It is possible to be connected to them on condition of steady connection, existence of the browser and also special programs.
Instruction
1. Start the browser and open the website of the radio station interesting you. Even if you do not know the exact address of radio station, write its name to the search engine, and the link to the website will appear in the top of search results page. On the homepage of the website of radio station click the link "Listen to Air" or "Air" (or similar). After that the new window of the browser which will have an appearance of the mediaplayer and the non-standard size will open. In this window it will be possible to regulate volume and also to change the audio stream bitrate (the bitrate is higher, the sound is more qualitative) and even to put air on a pause. At connection to radio this way switch off blocking of pop-up windows in the browser as it can interfere with start of a window mediaplayer.
2. Start the mediaplayer installed on the computer and check existence of connection with the Internet. Then visit the website of radio station and find on it the special reference to air with expansion .m3u or .pls. Copy this link, then come into a player and in its menu find the Open URL point then insert earlier copied link into this field and press the OK button. Usually different radio links which differ in a format of a flow or its bitrate are posted on the websites of radio stations. Therefore selecting the link for listening, be guided by data on connection speed and support a player of any given format. The link to air can be saved as the normal playlist and to return to it at any time.
3. Open the website moskva.fm. This project integrates all Moscow radio stations broadcasting in air and the Internet. To be connected to the interested station, find it in the directory or by means of the built-in search and press the Listen to Air button. In addition, this project allows to listen to archives of records of practically all radio stations presented on it.
