Plug-ins (additions) of Firefox serve as supportive application for work in the Internet. By means of plug-ins it is possible to expand functionality of the browser and to ensure comfortable browsing the Web. Their inclusion and shutdown is executed in settings of the program through a special menu item.
Shutdown of a plug-in
To disconnect the necessary plug-in which since some time began to disturb in work it is possible to use a menu item of settings. For this purpose open the browser, having used a label on a desktop or the Start menu. After program load click on the Firefox button located in the upper left corner. In the list of the offered options click a line of "Addition".
In the Management of Additions tab select the section "Plug-ins". In the offered list remove a tick from names of those expansions which you want to disconnect. Now you can delete the disconnected plug-in or use the same menu for inclusion of the necessary expansion later. Forever to remove a plug-in, press the Never to Include button.
Removal of subjects and expansions for change of functionality of Firefox is executed through the same Additions tab. To delete a theme, click on the section "Expansions and Subjects". The same way select items which you want to delete or disconnect then click "Apply". For repeated inclusion of a plug-in use the section "Always to Include".
Removal of plug-ins and expansions
Completely to delete a plug-in and earlier installed extension in the browser, return to the Firefox menu – Additions. Pay attention that during full removal at you it will not turn out to include in the future them again, and therefore you will need to make installation of an applet again, having downloaded it from the Internet.
If you are completely sure that the plug-in is not useful to you more, press the Delete button opposite to the corresponding name. After clicking "Delete" a plug-in it will be completely erased from the computer. If necessary press the Restart Now button to reboot Firefox and to apply the made changes.
The large plug-ins working not only in Firefox, but also in other browsers, are removed through the Start menu - "Control panel" - "Installation and removal" - "Removal of programs". Pass into this section Windows and find the name of the plug-in installed in a system. Click with the right mouse button on the corresponding line, and in the appeared context menu click "Delete".
Uninstallation of a plug-in is complete. Restart Firefox for application of changes. The remote plug-in can be newly loaded from the official site of his developer or from the page of plug-ins Firefox.
