Flash websites are executed on technology, more advanced in comparison with the standard HTML-websites. However and the organization of management of such web resources - a task more difficult. The ordinary site administrator when entering any changes into advanced Internet resources of this sort in much bigger measure depends on the programmer who created used in it a flash elements.
Instruction
1. It is the simplest to edit professionally made flash website in which programmers provided a possibility of modification of texts, hyperlinks, images and other elements. In this case use a management system of a web resource - it should include also forms for editing content, similar with used in the normal HTML-websites. The main distinction will consist only in lack of the mode of visual editing pages - everything should be done with use of fields of a form, and to watch the turned-out result on the website, but not in the editor of pages.
2. If the possibility of change of contents is put in a flash website, but any panel of administration is not provided in it, define in what way the flash elements joins texts, images, sounds, etc. They should or contain in external files, or be located in the initial HTML-code of pages. Look for such files and if they are there on the website server, edit texts, images and everything that contains in them.
3. In the absence of external files open the source code of the page in any editor and with use of function of search find the FlashVars variable. It is applied to data transmission from the HTML-code in a flash elements. In quotes after this variable there has to be an ActionScript variable name which is separated by an equality sign from transmitted data. Leave this name without changes, and the equalities standing later this it is possible to govern.
4. The most inconvenient option of editing - editing of content which is compiled in the swf-file, but is not loaded from the outside. If you have source codes a flash website (files in the fla format), edit their contents in the specialized program editor. Then with its help compile the changed website in the swf-file and replace with it the same file on the website server.
5. If there are no source codes, try to decompile the swf-file which is stored on the server with use of appropriate programs - for example, Flash Decompiler Trillix. Some of them allow to make changes without use of additional programs (Trillix can do it). You should edit as necessary the decompiled file, to compile it repeatedly and to replace the original which is stored on the server a flash website.
