Google Chrome – the multifunction browser allowing to make practically any operations for web browsing. In particular, you can always view the pages visited by you, execute search in the log or make its cleaning. The corresponding points of settings are for this purpose used.
Instruction
1. Open the Google Chrome browser in a system and turn into settings, having used the corresponding icon in the right top part of a window of the program. In the appeared list use History option for access to the viewed pages. For quick access to management of the log you can also use a key shortcut of Ctrl and V.
2. In a program window you will see the list of the pages visited by you. The browser offers a large number of functions for work with the saved history. So that to pass to already visited site, click any of the links listed in a tab. If the selected site was visited for this day repeatedly, click an arrow icon opposite to the necessary line. In the appeared context menu select Other Records on This Website option. On the following page you will see the number of visits of this website for all period.
3. To delete any specific record from the log, also click an arrow icon opposite to the necessary point. Select the second option "Delete from History" to erase this point from memory of the browser. If you want to delete several certain records of the log at once, guide the cursor at a position to the left of time of visit of the website and make a mark in the appeared block. Thus you can select several resources listed in the list then to click "Delete the Selected Elements". The resources noted by you will be deleted from the list of pages in the history.
4. If in results of history you look for any specific website or the name of a certain resource and its heading, use the search string in the top part of a window of the browser. Enter in this section search request, and then click "Look for in the history". The found suitable results will be displayed in a window of search of the program.
5. For full removal use the link "Clean History". In the appeared menu put ticks opposite to those points which you would like to delete. You can also clean history for a certain period or delete any other data, except the log, for example, a cache or the saved passwords. For application of settings click "Clean history". Removal of records of the log is complete.
