1. Enter the mailbox directly on the website or use the collector of letters. Open the letter interesting you in the folder of incoming messages. Further act depending on a box or the collector:
• In Outlook Express – in the File menu click "Properties" (or on the keyboard click Alt+Enter combination), in the opened window select a tab "In detail".
• – in a cap of the letter find In the addition menu in Yandex mail, in it select "Properties of the letter".
• In Gmail.com – in the upper right corner in a cap of the letter click the small triangle directed by an edge down, in the opened menu select the Show the Original item.
• In Ìail.ru – in a letter cap in the Still menu select "Control headings".
• In mail on Rambler - in the upper right corner press the Other Actions button, select the Letter Headings item.
• – click KM.RU the RFC Heading menu.
• On Yahoo.com – press the button of settings (on it the gear is drawn) and select the Full Heading item.
2. View attentively received control headings. Find lines it seems:

The sequences from four groups of the digits separated by points in square brackets located in the line beginning with words "Received: from" is and there are IP addresses.
The sender's IP address, as a rule, is specified in the list by the latest. In this example a source address - 212.157.83.225. Higher the IP address of mail service yaschik.net (126.0.0.1) through which this letter was delivered is designated. Such addresses it can be specified a little.

On the page of most such services it is necessary to enter digits of the IP address in the special field and to press the search button. But also there are free services allowing to define the sender of e-mail in which in the field for information input it is necessary to copy the received control heading from the letter entirely or the e-mail address from which the letter came. As a result you will be able to learn a geographical location of the sender (or, at least, a geographical location and the name of his provider), information on a host and the domain.
