If you do not want to use the phone number to which your page of social network "VKontakte" is tied, or you need to change it, you can untie number from the page. It can be done in two ways.
Instruction
1. In the beginning make sure that your page was tied to the e-mail address. For this purpose visit to yourself the page (http://vk.com) and in the section "My Settings" select the Notifications tab. In the bottom of a tab you will see the record "Notifications by E-mail". Check whether e-mail for notifications is specified there (if the page is not tied to the address e-mail, to untie the phone number it will not be got).
2. To delete the phone number, visit at this link: http://vk.com/deact.php. Enter number which you want to untie from the page.
3. After that you receive by phone the message with the code which needs to be entered in the special field in the Shutdown of Notifications window. If SMS does not come within 15 minutes, request the code repeatedly, having clicked on the corresponding link, or try later.
4. After removal of the phone number to visit the page, it is necessary to specify the e-mail address to which your page is tied as the login. However, when using the page without the attached number there is one not really pleasant moment: to you reminders on a binding of the phone number will constantly come.
5. You can untie number before removal of the page (simply to delete insufficiently since number will remain to it attached), or to tie him to other page or to use at registration on social network "VKontakte".
6. It is also possible to change former mobile phone number, specified on your page if you have to it access. For this purpose come into the section "My Settings", select the General tab and in the Your phone number point where the current issue is displayed, click "Change the phone number". Then enter new number in the appeared window.
7. After that SMS with a confirmation code will come to two numbers (old and new). The phone number will change after input of codes on the page of VKontakte.
8. If you have no access to the former phone number (for example, the sim card was lost), it is possible to untie it on the page for restoring access: http://vk.com/restore.
