The website of VKontakte allows users to communicate with each other as by means of groups and meetings, and directly, through private messages. The history of messages is saved, and it can be browsed subsequently.

Instruction
1. The number of the messages left friends and not read by you on social network "VKontakte" will be specified in the left part of your personal page near the My Messages point. In order that to read them, come into this section and select the dialog interesting you. Pay attention that on the Dialogs page the last sent message from each of friends is specified only if you select it, then before you all history of correspondence will open.
2. New unread messages are selected on social network with a light blue background. This rule extends both to your messages, and to letters of the interlocutor. I.e. until you read the message sent by the friend, a standard way on its page in the section "Dialogs" it will be marked by blue.
3. If you want to read the message, but do not want the interlocutor to learn about it, select the My Messages item, find the message interesting you highlighted in blue color in the opened window. Do not click it, instead click addressed to and a surname of the interlocutor, specified near its photo. Before you its personal page will open. On this page, directly under the photo, find the Send the Message point and click it. Further select "Pass to a dialog with …" (a name of the interlocutor) and read all history of correspondence, including the last new message.
4. Then you can pass to the page again, having selected the corresponding item at the left. If all of you made correctly, then the message interesting you will not change a light blue background for white, and near the My Messages point the same number of unread messages, as will be specified earlier.
5. If you use cellular communication of Megafon, Beeline or MTS operators, then you can browse the messages sent to you to the page of VKontakte and answer them directly from the mobile phone even if on it Internet access is not configured. For this purpose connect the notification in "Settings" on the personal page: near the Receive Private Messages from … (User Name) through SMS point check. Quickly to respond to such message, it is necessary to send response SMS, having begun it with the digits specified at the end of the received message.
