How to make grass tincture
Alcohol concentration has considerable impact on quality of tincture. Alcohol of weak concentration increases medicine insisting time. Therefore alcohol concentration not less than 40-60 degrees is considered optimum. Often use vodka for preparation of tincture. It is desirable to check previously its quality, having studied the certificate. All vegetable components need to be crushed that alcohol could "extend" bigger quantity of useful components from raw materials. Leaves, a grass and flowers of a plant are crushed up to 5 mm. Roots, stalks and bark – approximately up to 3 mm, seeds and fruits of plants it is the best of all to crush in the coffee grinder. Tincture in densely closed capacity made of dark material is cooked. In capacity put the necessary quantity of a starting crude and fill in it with alcohol. The ratio of volumes 1:1 or weight – 1:5 is most often used. That is, the weight of herbs has to be 5 times less than alcohol weight. Mature tincture at the room temperature in the dark place not less than 7-10 days. Periodically capacity is recommended to be stirred up. Ready medicine is filtered and spilled in small small bottles from dark glass with skintight covers. It is possible to store tincture in the fridge within several years. Small bottles should be supplied with labels on which preparation time of tincture and its structure is specified. Apply means in the form of drops, local lotions and grindings. For the internal use it is recommended to drink 10-30 drops of an alcoholature. However, the dose of medicine depends on a disease and structure of means. Anyway before intake of tincture it is necessary to consult with the attending physician. Any medicines prepared from a plant raw material have contraindications which need to be considered at treatment of a disease.
