All know that sea water has a number of properties, useful to a human body, as it in a large number contains useful minerals, minerals and ions which are responsible for stimulation of many vital processes. As sea water – a difficult complex of minerals, salts and ions which was created in such ratio in the course of evolution can seem that it is impossible to recreate this miracle combination in house conditions. However, it not so. Artificial sea water is not a miracle, but reality.
Instruction
1. Production of such sea water process though not labor-consuming, but long. That water was completely ready, about three days will be required. There are various options of preparation of sea water. Those who decided to be engaged seriously in its production should remember that at any such artificial structure there has to be a number of salts. Namely: chloride sodium (NaCI) - the weight maintenance of this element in grams on kilogram - no more than 26.6 (this element on the specific weight is the basic as a part of artificial sea water); sulfate magnesium (MgS04) - 3.3 g/kg; chloride magnesium (MgClj) - 2.3 g/kg; and chloride calcium (SaS12) - 1.2 g/kg. It is possible to add to ready solution also other salts – generally baking soda (NaHC03) and bromide of sodium (NaBr).
2. So, we take glass capacity, to it it is serially added all designated salts, except chloride calcium. At the same time we don't begin to add the following salt before absolute dissolution of previous. We dissolve boric acid in separate ware, and then already we enter into the general solution.
3. We allow solution to stay day. Next day we add to it chloride calcium. The weight of the received solution has to be about 35 grams. After preparation of salt solution we add to it so much fresh water that the volume of liquid increased to liter.
4. Before adding fresh water, it needs to be cleaned previously by means of a distiller or usual activated carbon. Two-three days later artificial sea water is ready.
5. The artificial sea water received in such a way, of course, concedes on the properties to natural. Its structure remains invariable as it isn't subject to influence of living organisms which inhabit sea water. But in the absence of "live" sea water this water – a fine alternative.
