Even the sugar which is considered as one of high-calorific products contains only about 4 kilocalories per 1 gram of substance. In turn, vodka is one of the most hard alcoholic drinks - 100 its grams contain about 40% of alcohol, that is about 40 grams of pure alcohol. Depending on additives which can be included this drink the caloric content of vodka can be from 230 to 260 kilocalories on 100 grams. At the same time it is remarkable that on the label the caloric content of this alcoholic drink ordinary isn't specified as it doesn't contain nutrients - fats, carbohydrates or proteins.
