The maximum allowed storage temperature of honey is +40os. At higher rates chemical reactions which lead to damage of a product begin.

Standard 20-30 degrees above zero don't spoil honey, but considerably reduce the term of its storage.

Well the storeroom, the basement or a dry cellar are suitable for preservation of honey.

More difficult the situation with storage of this sweet in the ordinary city apartment is.

First of all exclude kitchen as the room for storage of honey. Here too hot it is also damp, at a product the taste can worsen.

 In old apartments there are storerooms which can "shelter" your honey stocks.

If there is no storeroom, the fridge will be the great place for storage of honey. Here to it neither temperature differences, nor humidity, nor sunshine are terrible. Put honey on the lower shelves (as it is possible further from the freezer).

But the best container for long storage of honey tinted glass is considered. Track that the cover was densely closed, it is important.

It is forbidden to keep honey in a copper, aluminum and galvanized container. Too it is better not to use kegs from the wood saturated with essential oils.

Before filling the container needs to be cleaned baking soda, to wash up and to dry well.

There are fans to store honey in its original state – in cells. It is a difficult task, the frame needs to be wrapped up in food wrap, and from above - dark fabric and to watch that the moth didn't choose your stocks. A great way is to separate honey cells from a frame and to put them in glasswares.
