Pepper is popular with many gardeners for a long time. It can be grown up both in the open ground, and in the greenhouse depending on the region. In midland of Russia it is for this purpose better to use the closed soil. One of important stages of cultivation of pepper in the greenhouse is the correct watering.
On the distinctive signs pepper is separated into sharp and sweet. It is connected with contents in its composition of such substance as capsaicin. At hot pepper it contains in large number, and at sweet pepper is almost not swept up. In independence of type of pepper, its cultivation in the greenhouse can cause number of questions. Pepper does not transfer moisture surplus, but also for it also its shortcoming is pernicious. At its cultivation it is necessary that the soil always was in damp state. Therefore it is necessary to water plants regularly and not to allow drying of earth lump.
How often to water pepper in the greenhouse
Begin to water pepper from the landing to the greenhouse. As a rule, it is done in the seedling way. Before landing it is abundant water each hole, using at the same time 1 l of water on pole. After that the soil under plants is mulched dry humus or peat.
The following watering after landing is carried out in the greenhouse only in 5-6 days. Of course, it does not concern especially droughty places and very hot weather patterns. Watering in that case can be carried out much more often. It is impossible to allow even short-term drying of the soil. Otherwise at pepper begin to fall down flowers or there are small fruits.
Further waterings have to be frequent, but not really abundant. The approximate water flow on 1 sq.m. makes 5-6 l. In process of growth and formation of fruits at pepper in the greenhouse the need for water significantly increases. Therefore the single dose of watering needs to be raised to 20-30 l on 1 sq.m. Water has to get into the soil on 15-20 cm in depth. At such distance from earth surface there is bulk of roots of plants.
During blossoming, pepper in the greenhouse is watered once a week. And at the time of fructification it needs to be done minimum twice. In hot weather of plant water every other day.

Water pepper in the greenhouse only in the first half of day. At the same time use warm water which is prepared in various tanks in advance and warm up in the sun. They can be put for this purpose to the greenhouse.
When watering, water is carefully poured small streams at the roots of plants not to wet leaves and not to wash away top soil. It can negatively affect further development of plants.
After each watering in 10-12 hours the soil under pepper is loosened. It is done on depth no more than 6-7 cm not to damage root system. It allows to reduce evaporation of water from the soil.
