Optimum operation of the chainsaw is impossible without adjustment of its carburetor consisting in selection of characteristics of fuel mix for different operative conditions. The general rules of control of parameters of this device are identical to various brands of chainsaws, however adjustment of the carburetor of saw Ural has some features.

- - technical data sheet of the chainsaw;
- - screw-driver;
- - set of wrenches.
Instruction
1. Study the service regulations of the chainsaw specified in the technical management. Before starting independent adjustment of the carburetor on new saw, remember what factory settings. It is not recommended to make changes to operation of the carburetor until the engine fulfills several hours with the settings exposed by the producer.
2. Begin adjustment in the idling mode. Start the engine and let's it work on small turns. By means of adjustment screw of the carburetor achieve that the engine gained steam steadily, and the chain at the same time did not move on the tire.
3. Pass to average turnovers. If the engine begins to smoke, partially twirl the screw that will make mix poorer. Smoking after impoverishment of mix has to stop, and engine speed will increase. Achieve that by sharp pressing the throttle lever the engine gained steam quickly and without breakthroughs.
4. Check acceleration performance of the engine of saw. Establish the minimum turns for what it will be required to turn off the adjustment screw. Now sharply press the lever up to the end and sustain it in such situation not less than three seconds. If the engine stalls or too slowly increases turns, gradually unscrew the screw. Having chosen optimum operating mode, reliably fix the adjusting screw lock-nut.
5. Also make adjustment of the carburetor for again acquired saw not adjusted on the maximum power and which has not passed running in, consistently changing position of the screw of the carburetor. You remember at the same time that when untwisting the screw mix is enriched, and at partial screwing up it becomes poorer.
6. Make final adjustment of the carburetor after three-four working hours of the chainsaw in real service conditions, that is when sawing wood.
