The brick represents universal artificial stone – one of the most popular construction materials. There is nothing particularly complex in work with brick therefore you can easily save on compensation of hired workers and execute laying of brick independently.
Instruction
1. Find necessary tools: trowel, kirochka, construction level, plumb and strong cords. Prepare solution for laying. For this purpose mix 1 part of cement with 4-6 parts of sand and fill in the received weight with water. For bigger plasticity it is possible to add one part of lime or clay, a little liquid soap or laundry detergent. Pay attention that such solution cannot be used for laying of hollow bricks as it will flow into slots and will worsen thermoinsulating properties of brick.
2. Try to lay the very first brick-on-edge course correctly. Use for this purpose equal rail or the tense cord. Lay brick so that it did not reach guide on 2-3 millimeters. Check horizontal position of laying and arrangement of bricks relatively each other by means of level. It is especially important to meet this condition if you carry out faced brickwork.
3. Be defined in what way you will execute seam between bricks. If the laid-out wall is supposed to be plastered subsequently, make recessed joint. At this way solution does not dotekat to external edge of brick owing to what slots are formed. The finishing mortar flowing into them will better keep on wall. If you carry out seams in undercut, solution will fill slot aflush with brick edge. Such type of seam needs to be used at laying chimney and chimneys that on their inside face soot did not accumulate. Projecting and concave joints bear only decorative function.
4. Lay out first of all wall corners to receive lighthouses and to pull the cord-prichalku which is used for designation of height and the line of laying. Pull cord hardly and periodically stack bricks lighthouses which will serve for it as support. Remove rectangular corners by means of the so-called poryadovka representing equal metal corner on which apply the tags designating the level of laying of bricks. On corners lay the first several bricks in height by means of level, and then fix on them poryadovka. For this purpose you need couple of brackets clamps. Give to poryadovka strictly vertical situation, having used the exact level or plumb. On the tags applied on poryadovka pull cord-prichalku.
5. Use long aluminum corner or profile if length of wall is small. Thus it will be easier for you to provide horizontal position and linearity of laying. During laying through each 5 rows stack mesh reinforcement and do not forget about bandaging of bricks – the certain order of laying which is preventing stratification of wall down and evenly distributing loading longwise of wall.
