After removal from the seasonal dacha of old or dry tree for certain you want to get rid also of the stub which has remained on its place. There are several ways to remove stub from the site.
It is required to you
- - shovel;
- - sodium or calcic saltpeter;
- - axe, ice pick, hacksaw;
- - winch, lever, anchor drill;
- - coarse table salt;
- - source of powerful pressure of water, hose.
Instruction
1. Drill as much as possible openings in stub. Try to drill openings on depth coinciding with earth surface.
2. Fill up sodium or potash saltpeter in openings and cover stub with film. Saltpeter, having absorbed in wood, when heating will mark out large amount of oxygen. Oxygen – the main component of process of burning.
3. In two-three months after the beginning of impregnation set fire to stub, having become impregnated with saltpeter, it will burn out as above the ground, and in depth.
4. If you do not want to burn out stub on the site for any reasons, strew stub with coarse salt before its full decomposition. It is recommended to apply this way, only if you clear away constructible surface. Salt in large numbers very much harms fertile layer of the earth.
5. If both chemical ways are unacceptable for you, find out the root system of stub. At each tree the root system which is located underground or in breadth on the plane, or going rod down.
6. Define the provision of the thickest roots and dig round their shovel vglubina 25-30 centimeters lower than root.
7. Exempt roots from the earth, having sprinkled them in poles around. Saw them hacksaw.
8. By means of the winch or the lever incline stub and chop the central core root if it is.
9. Dig hole near stub. By means of powerful water jet gradually wash away soil under stub. After to be bared roots, cut them hacksaw, chop the axe or ice pick.
