The inoculation in crop production is connection of two parts from different plants therefore they grow together and live as uniform organism. One component of inoculation which the gardener wants to multiply is called scion. It is implanted in other plant which call stock. In order that the inoculation has turned out, it is necessary to follow number of rules.

- - shanks for inoculation;
- - secateurs and inoculative knives;
- - garden var;
- - binding;
- - labels.
1. Choose stock. It has to be the plant which has well proved in these external conditions. The features are important for each case of inoculation: high frost resistance, low krone, regular fructification, resistance to diseases and wreckers, ability it is good to transfer the increased humidity or salinity of the soil. However the most part of stock is part of new plant, the stock has greater influence on properties of the turned-out tree.
2. Choose scion. Remember that you can combine several scions on one plant. It is useful at inoculations of fruit-trees. In krone of stock it is possible to impart the necessary pollinator or several less frost-resistant, but large-fruited grades. Take scion from healthy strong plant. At fruit it is desirable to take shanks for inoculation from the middle of krone from South side. Shanks for inoculation have to be mature and well created.
3. At inoculations consider such important point as compatibility of both plants. Carry most often out inoculation of closely related types. For example, the apple-tree well takes root on apple-tree.
4. Carry out inoculation very accurately. You remember for successful accretion of parts of plants, it is necessary to connect them correctly. Arrange scion and stock so that their cambial layers were blocked or had big contact area. Work as the surgeon – accurately and quickly. Cuts on both plants have to be executed purely, without jags and dirt. Prepare clean and sharp tool (secateurs, inoculative knife).
5. You perform operation quickly. Cuts of stock and scion have to remain as little as possible on air. It dries cambial layer, and operation can it will not be possible. Densely fix both parts by insulating tape.
6. Create suitable conditions for successful accretion and healing of inoculation. For reduction of losses of heat and moisture close both parts transparent package. Provide protection of inoculation against breakage. Birds can sit down on plant, or the scion will be broken off by wind.
7. You watch inoculations. In time delete (cut out on ring) the appearing escapes lower than the place of accretion. Weaken or shoot the film fastening scion to stock in month. Cover all place of inoculation after removal of tape by the garden thief. Regulate growth of scion. Surely attach label with the indication of date of inoculation and grade of the imparted plant.
