At capital repair or construction of the new house rather often there is need for laying of voltage cable. It is necessary to know that this work demands vocational training and knowledge of the existing requirements and standards. Mistakes when performing mounting of voltage cable can lead to the most sad consequences. Therefore it is recommended to entrust this type of works to professionals.

Instruction
1. Choose the brand of cable. It is necessary to know that in the earth it is recommended to apply armored cable to laying. If you choose unarmoured brands of cable, then their laying has to be carried out in PVC or asbestos-cement pipes.
2. Study geounderlying cause of the planned cable passages and make sure that the route does not cross other engineering networks. Determine trench depth. Depth of trench depends on the place of passing of the route. For example, the cable passing under the motor-road has to lie at depth not less than 1.25 m.
3. Mark and clear away the place of drowning of the route. Establish protections along all route. Prepare necessary amount of sand.
4. Dig out trench of the necessary depth. Fill up sand layer on trench bottom. Thickness of layer has to be 15 cm. It is abundant wet sand water and carefully stamp so that thickness of the stamped layer was 10 cm. For ramming of sandy layer it is recommended to use the vibrating plate.
5. Lay asbestos-cement pipes in the prepared trench. Connect them by means of special connection sleeves of the suitable size. For this purpose it is necessary to heat the coupling in the water brought to boiling and to put on the coupling by means of the screw-driver.
6. Carefully check cable and make sure that its isolation has not been broken when transporting.
7. For mounting of cable it is necessary to use special steel cable. Bring rope to pipe so that it has passed the route through and came from other its party to length of 10-15 m.
8. Establish the special plastic funnels protecting cable from damage on entrance and output openings of pipes. Attach cable to rope by means of special metal stocking. Accurately stretch cable for the rope laid earlier.
9. Measure insulation resistance of the laid cable. Make sure that isolation is not damaged anywhere. Carefully fill the funnels established earlier with polyurethane foam to prevent hit of sand and stones in pipes.
10. Fill up pipes with sand layer in 15 cm. Strongly moisten and carefully stamp sand layer. Fill up trench with soil to half. Lay special alarm tape. In case of unauthorized excavation the tape will indicate that in this place the cable is laid. Lay soil to the planned mark.
