Instruction
1. Material selection. If your future workplace has the big area, give preference to wood of firm grades, for example oak. MDF which is plain in processing and work will become good alternative. For construction of similar designs use sheets not less than 15 mm thick. The similar size also the chipboard panel has to have. Choosing the last, you remember that additional financial and time costs for plastering and painting will be involved.
2. Window opening with width of 180 cm will be basis of design. Such size allows to feel comfortable and conveniently in workplace. It is better to equip windowsill table in the course of replacement of window, before installation of slopes. If such works are not carried out, future workplace should be mounted to windowsill by means of liquid nails.
3. Having chosen form and the size of table, by means of ruler apply marking on MDF the panel.
4. If the form of table-top has the rounded-off edge, small carnations and tape of thick cardboard will help to draw the line of cutting of material. On one line on furniture board hammer two small tacks, one more carnations hammer in the place of the greatest bend. Pass strip of cardboard between nails in the form of wattle fence. It is possible to adjust the educated line driving in of additional nails and tightening of cardboard tape.
5. On educated lines cut parts by means of the electric fret saw.
6. Define the location of heating radiator and cut openings not less than 36 mm in size. Quickly use of pointed drill will help to perform work.
7. Near window the table-top will lean on bars, from the opposite side — on perforated connectors. Bend profile so that the right angle was formed. Fasten it self-tapping screws to wall and board. At this stage it is important to check horizontal position of design.
8. Fill educated space with polyurethane foam. Wait for it to drying and cut off surplus.
9. Cut the chromeplated pipe on pieces of necessary length. Put on plastic stubs one of the parties. From the opposite side fix the flange and attach to table-top by means of self-tapping screws.
10. The working place windowsill can have design of folding table. For performance of work take joiner's leaf 40 - 45 mm thick and 55 - 60 cm wide.
11. Carry out mounting of flap lid by means of continuous loop of the necessary size.
12. As well as in the first case, in upper part of cover make three rows of the openings providing circulation of warm air from radiator.
13. The support will be served by the bracket attached to table cover. In the put state the table will close radiator and to increase the useful area of the room.
