- - starch, the purified gasoline;
- - table salt, water, turpentine, woolen fabric;
- - chalk, brush;
- - laundry soap, sponge.
Instruction
1. Fat spots from leather product can be removed with the following method: mix potato starch and the purified gasoline in equal proportions. Peculiar gruel which should be rubbed in spot has to turn out, leave for some time. Gasoline will gradually disappear, and remove starch from skin, having properly stirred up product. If greasy spot quite saturated, repeat this procedure several times, then wipe with damp fabric.
2. The ink spots which have accidentally appeared on leather thing can be eliminated by means of normal salt. Fill thick layer of table salt to the place of pollution and slightly moisten it with water. Leave salt on leather product for two-three days. Then shake it from thing and rub the place of spot clean and damp sponge. Grease with turpentine and polish to gloss woolen fabric or velvet ribbon.
3. The oil or greasy stain on leather thing (bag, jacket, belt, etc.) is well cleaned by means of normal chalk. Fill up places of pollution with triturated chalk and leave for day. Then shake cretaceous powder and carefully clean soft brush that place where there was greasy spot. If desired it is possible will repeat the procedure two-three times, wipe leather product with damp sponge.
4. If on leather product there is hardly removed spot, laundry soap will cope with it without special work. Soap it the polluted place and quickly, but it is accurate, rub sponge. Then several times wipe with damp fabric. It is not necessary to hold long soap on skin, it can lead to damage of product (skin will become dry and fragile).
