If your azalea has faded, replace (or pass) it. At the same time the plant looks so: the lump of the earth consists practically of some roots, the earth is not shaken from there, and roots so densely adjoin to each other that it is not possible to clean them. You will be helped by one solution which recipe you learn during further reading.
Instruction
1. - Basin the filtered or boiled water; - Pot (material does not matter, and the size it has to be a little more previous); - The disinfected scissors with knife; - Zircon, kornevin, trikhodermin; - The pine bark crushed and steamed in oven; - Perlite or vermiculite; - Sphagnum (moss); - Bank sand; - The crushed wood coal; - The special earth for azaleas (with the increased acidity).
2. You can just pass plant, but if the azalea has florets, then it is better to replace it. Part according to the instruction kornevin in water basin, add several drops of zircon there. In this water wet 20-30 azalea which is taken out from pot within minutes now. While the plant is retted, prepare substrate.
3. Substrate is prepared as follows: mix vermiculite with the earth for azaleas. With vermiculite the earth will become better to pass through itself air and moisture, providing to plant comfortable conditions for growth. Further crumble sphagnum that that disinfected the soil in yet not ready substrate. Finally add manual sand and mix the received earth mix.
4. Prepare pot, put drainage layer (the crocks covered with layer of the crushed haydite, small pebble or beaten brick) on height about 3 cm in it, then put pine bark (bark will increase acidity of the soil that for azalea very important), powder with the earth and add trikhodermin (from decay and fungi). Everything together it will occupy about 5 cm. Therefore the new pot has to be higher and wider former on 5 cm too.
5. Time to get from solution lump with azalea has come. Slightly wring out it, let's flow down to excess water and put in the middle of pot. Accurately now powder lump with substrate from all directions. Not to fill up root neck, do not pour the earth from above.
