Preparation for repair

How to remove old elastic band
Open door of the washing machine, examine the elastic band which is attentively needing replacement. To the machine body it fastens the special wire ring which has hidden behind external rim of elastic band. Unbend rim, pick up ring the screw-driver or flat-nose pliers, remove it. Be not afraid that you its this most damage, the ring is arranged so that a little without risk is capable to stretch to break.
Turn off screws near the door lock, remove the lock. In some models the screws are absent, instead of them around the lock similarity of buttons are located. In this case you should press buttons inside, to shift the lock slightly to the left, and then to press so that it has left to the right and back. Turn off all screws supporting frontal wall of the machine, remove it. Look whether is not present around elastic band of the additional screws or clips continuing to hold it. If those are found, turn off them. Remove elastic band, it is not required to you any more, and here do not throw out wire ring at all, it is necessary for you for mounting of new rubber sealing.
How to put new elastic band
Attentively examine new elastic band, in result of inspection you will notice on it small uvula, it will help to arrange correctly new part as it has to be in all models strictly from above. Put new elastic band to the place of old. If it does not want to stretch in any way, can grease it slightly. As lubricant the liquid means will be ideal for washing, but be not overzealous with quantity, otherwise the elastic band will slip out hands. Collect the machine in the sequence, the return to analysis, put into place the door lock. Put on new cup wire ring so that it has densely captured new part. Help yourself at the same time the screw-driver or flat-nose pliers, but be extremely careful unintentionally not to damage new elastic band. Make sure that the rubber cup sits densely and is capable to perform the direct functions. Connect the washing machine to water and current network. Before starting washing, the first after repair, miss the machine through single cycle without linen. It will help you to make sure that the elastic band well holds water, that is is established correctly.
