Instruction
1. Choose the pleasant drawing for scrappy blanket. It is possible to look at many patterns in special magazines on scrappy sewing. Remember that the elements will be larger, the less time will be required on performance of product, however small parts will give to thing the unique charm. Of course, in the scrappy equipment not the sizes of pieces of fabric, but the drawing received at their sewing together are important.
2. Pick up necessary fabrics (color for upper part, heater and monophonic fabric for the lower part of blanket). Beauty of product often depends on skillfully made color shades. For sewing together of parts it is better for fabric to take identical on thickness and quality. So you will be sure that the blanket will not be wrinkled after washing and shrinkage.
3. You will cut out the necessary templates from dense cardboard or plastic. Depending on the drawing, the template can be one or several. Do not do paper templates since they are rumpled, and it is necessary to circle them often.
4. You will find so many parts how many it will be required for the chosen blanket size from fabric. Displaying templates on fabric, consider the direction of share thread. This arrow has to be drawn on the template that you have not got confused. You circle templates with chalk (soap, special marker) and cut out, having receded from the planned line allowance of 0.5-0.7 cm. Try that lines were accurately visible, on them you will sew pieces in pattern.
