The timber door is upholstered to keep heat and to give it sound-proof properties. The main elements of upholstery are cloth from leatherette and the roller which closes slots between door cloth and jamb.

- - cloth from leatherette;
- - construction stapler;
- - furniture nails;
- - foam rubber;
- - hammer.
Instruction
1. Getting to work, remove door from loops. Lay it on supports from stools. Remove from outer side all speakers of part (keyhole frame, the door handle).
2. Prepare basis for rollers. For door which opens outside cut out from leatherette or other leatherette three strips. Width of strips – 14 cm. Two strips have to be equal to door height. One strip has to correspond to width of door cloth.
3. Having receded from face of door of 1.5 cm, beat them face side inside small nails or the construction stapler. Distance between nails – 15 cm. On the party where loops are located, do not beat strip.
4. If your door opens inside, prepare four strips. Two of them have to be equal to height, and remained to correspond two to door width. Upholster with strips perimeter of door cloth.
5. Prepare the cotton or foam roller with a diameter of 3 cm. Wrap it in strip and beat at edges of doors. The received roller has to block slots between door and its box.
6. Spread out foam rubber or cotton wool to surfaces of door cloth. From above impose cloth from leatherette. It has to be at 10 cm in size more than width and lengths of door. From loops make bigger stock.
7. Tuck cloth and begin to beat from outside where there is door lock. The distance between nails has to be 10 cm. Leave nails on rollers under cloth. At first beat the longitudinal parties, and then bottom edge. In the last turn beat the upper edge of cloth. You watch that material was not warped.
8. Decorate the upholstered door with furniture nails the corresponding drawing – rhombus, square. For receiving equal and symmetric ranks, between nails pull fishing line. The upholstery will receive additional fastening. Cut opening for keyhole and the door handle. Attach all accessories. Establish door into place.
