After planting of seedling tomato to the greenhouse many gardeners think of application of fertilizers under these plants. Than it is possible to feed up them and how it is correct to do it not to do much harm to tomatoes?
In May there comes time when it is necessary to land tomatoes to the greenhouse. Landing terms directly depend on view of the soil on kitchen garden and ambient temperatures. Tomatoes well take root in new conditions if temperature of the soil does not fall lower than +12 degrees. Therefore they are landed to the greenhouse on sandy soils in 1 decade of May, and on loams only at the end of the second decade of month. You should not hurry with landings if, of course, the greenhouse is not heated. In 2-3 weeks after landing there comes the moment when plants begin to need mineral and organic fertilizers especially. Carry out to this period the first fertilizing, and the others with interval of 15-20 days. In total tomatoes feed up four times.
The first fertilizing tomato in the greenhouse
Before introduction of any fertilizers per day tomatoes it is abundant water. At the first feeding up use only mineral fertilizers which contain not enough nitrogen. The surplus of this substance in the soil can lead to strong thickening of the main stalk and twisting of the top leaves. Therefore at this moment for fertilizing of tomatoes use the following structure: 20 g of superphosphate and 30 g of sulfate of potassium on 10 l of water. Water with this solution tomatoes at the roots, spending 1 l for plant.
It is also possible to prepare such solution: 1 kg of mullein mix with 1 tablespoon to nitrophoska and fill in 10 l of water. Then water plants. Besides these solutions tomatoes in the greenhouse it is possible to feed up complex fertilizers, for example Agrikola-3 or Zdraven.
The second fertilizing tomato in the greenhouse
The second fertilizing is carried out when on plants ovaries are formed. Such fertilizers as Rastvorin and Kemira-universal best of all are suitable for it. Tomatoes for the normal growth and development need 9 microelements: pine forest, molybdenum, iron, manganese, zinc, copper, cobalt, chrome and iodine. These complex fertilizers contain all necessary substances, except for iodine. Therefore they can water plants separately at the rate of 40 drops on water bucket.
It is also possible to prepare mix for the second fertilizing independently. For this purpose in 10 l of water dissolve 60 g of azophoska, 30 g of calcic saltpeter, 15 g of urea and 40 g of sulfate of potassium. Plants water at the roots, the received solution.
Besides mineral fertilizers for the second fertilizing it is possible to use organic chemistry. In bucket with water part chicken dung 1:20 or mullein 1:10 and also prepare various green herbs infusion.
The third and fourth fertilizing of tomatoes in the greenhouse

In general, mineral and organic fertilizers of tomatoes it is better to alternate fertilizing. Therefore if during the second fertilizing mineral substances were used, then the third fertilizing is carried out by means of organic fertilizers and so on. You should not forget that the interval between them has to be at least two weeks.
Extra root fertilizing tomato in the greenhouse
In certain cases other type of fertilizing – extra root happens the most effective also. It consists in spraying of leaves of plants in the evening or in the afternoon in cloudy weather. They are led at any time to independence of the main introduction of fertilizers.
If tomatoes badly grow, use urea (1 tsp on 10 l of water). And at fall of flowers the tomatoes need to be oprysnut solution of boric acid (half of teaspoon of substance is parted on 10 l of water). Also for formation of ovaries tomatoes spray with the stimulators promoting formation of fruits, for example Bouton +.
The correct and timely application of fertilizers under tomatoes allows to increase significantly their productivity and to be less subject to influence of various diseases and wreckers.
