The science philosophy arose in such countries of the ancient world as Egypt, India, China more than 2500 thousand years ago. Already then people were interested in global questions of the universe and the existence.
Definition of philosophy
In translation from Greek the philosophy means "love for wisdom". Wise men were those who the first thought of questions of creation of the universe of the place of the ancient person in the amazing and various world.
The philosophy reached the classical form in Ancient Greece. The Ancient Greek thinker Pythagoras was the first person who called himself the philosopher, and as separate science the philosophy was allocated by not less famous antique scientist Platon. Over time the philosophy was divided, having formed several directions.
The ontology studies essence and life. The gnoseology is devoted to the doctrine about knowledge. The logic studies thinking, its laws and forms. Ethics studies morals problems, and the esthetics is devoted to the doctrine about great and its value in art and human life. The social philosophy studies human society.
Life problems
The philosophy throughout already several millennia studies the major questions and problems interesting, perhaps, each person. Some questions disappeared by itself, their place was taken by others. The only problem with which solution the greatest minds of mankind till today struggle is the life problem. The life problem in modern philosophical literature includes such important, it is possible even to tell crucial issues of philosophy: how does the spirit correspond to matter whether there are in life depths supernatural forces, whether the world in what direction the Universe develops is infinite? Concern philosophers and such problems: what is the person from where he occurred and what his place in a general relationship of the phenomena of the world? Whether the person is mortal or is immortal? Modern philosophers pay attention to problems of the good and evil, the truth and delusion. Problems of life concerned philosophers throughout all human history, but were not resolved till today. Judging by scanty results, life problems will be resolved not soon. Perhaps, on it hundreds will leave if not thousands of years. None of philosophers could answer a question, from where, as well as why there was a Universe. A reference point it is considered to be the Big Bang owing to what the existing galaxies were allegedly formed. But it is always possible to ask inconvenient questions: what blew up why blew up? If it was matter, then from where it undertook? Whom or what it was created by? Not to mention origin of the person. Nobody believes any more that he occurred from a monkey, but also to believe in paradise, too it is difficult. Similar questions will nonplus any philosopher. Probably the person should learn answers to the most important, most important issues of life and about the place in the world not soon.
