From where poets derive the inspiration

Without inspiration the emergence of any work of art is impossible. Fully it belongs also to poetry. World famous poets know how it is important to find a source of inspiration and to learn them to use.

Inspiration - what is it?

The inspiration usually is understood as special state of mind in which the maximum focus on creative process is reached. In certain cases this concentration can be so strong that the poet does not notice either a current of time, or feeling of hunger or discomfort. During the periods of inspiration brilliant works which authors often cannot explain how they managed to create any given masterpiece are created.

Some researchers consider that all verses which writes author, exist in his subconsciousness for a long time but only the inspiration allows them to be issued in lines of words. It is the controversial theory, however, it is necessary to consider that the analysis of process of poetic creativity in itself is quite controversial as neither the author, nor especially his researchers, can analyze technology of birth of the poem up to the end.

If you found a situation or the phenomenon which inspire you, remember them and try to use and in the future.

Nevertheless the inspiration is strictly individual state therefore each person should look for it independently. Very often sincere experiences turning into rhymed lines are stimulated with other art forms: cinema, theater, prose, music. By the way, many authors call music among the indispensable attributes necessary for them for creativity.

Search of inspiration

Good poets try to perceive most emotionally the world surrounding them to touch as much as possible feelings in soul. The inspiration can be derived from brightness of flowers, rain noise, flight of birds. Not casually so many poems are written about the nature. Besides, some authors are able to surround artificially themselves with such conditions in which the inspiration is the most probable. For example, Schiller wrote verses better, feeling aroma of spoiled apples therefore he always kept their stock in an office.

You carry with yourself a notebook and a pencil for records not to miss a fresh thought if to you the inspiration unexpectedly comes.

At last, the inspiration can be caused by strong impressions and emotions. Change of a situation, a travel, partings and acquaintances – all this enriches the poet with experiences which he turns into verses. Some authors specially create to themselves as much as possible situations which the normal person perceives as stressful. The stress stirs up cogitative activity, and in combination with bright emotions it gives the good soil for inspiration.
