A huge number of people on the computer stores a lot of important information therefore any virus or the hacker attack can provoke serious problems. Safety of the personal computer consists of many components, for example, it is provided by antiviruses, various software and fayervol or a firewall. Multilevel protection will allow not to be afraid that once any important documents or photos will disappear from the computer.
How to adjust fayervol?
Fayervol represents a certain surge protector which task is to protect the personal computer from unauthorized access and to do not miss various data which are not corresponding to certain criteria. Operation parameters of a fayervol are set automatically, but at the same time each user can make certain changes.
Settings of a fayervol at all the operating system are similar and have no essential differences. It is important to notice that if the user for protection of the computer uses Kaspersky's antivirus, then managements of parameters and modification, it is necessary to carry out by means of special applications. Therefore it is necessary or to stop temporarily work of the program, or remove it. It is important to know where there are settings of a fayervol. We suggest to transfer work of outgoing connections to the mode of white filtration and to adjust the list of permissions. It is necessary to open the Windows Firewall with Advanced Security equipment.
Control of a fayervol Windows 8, 7 and XP is carried out according to such scheme:
- The first that it is recommended to make – to forbid outgoing connections for public and private networks. For this purpose open a properties window of a firewall and in the tabs which are near a private and public profile transfer an option in the entering connections to a state to Block.
- Now it is necessary to create rules for applications. That it was easier to understand how to make it, we suggest to review an example. The user wants to allow the browser to carry out outgoing connection. To realize conceived it is necessary to select the Outgoing Connections tab and to add there the new rule. As a result on the screen there will be a master of creation where it is necessary to specify that the rule is intended for applications. We drop into the following walk and we register a way to the application, in our example, it is IE. Press Further and now the task is in allowing or refusing connection. We stop on the first option.
- Choose network arrangement, and then, enter a name of the rule and its description.
If you made something not so, it is not necessary to worry as settings of a fayervol Windows 7, 8 and HR, it is possible to return to initial parameters. For this purpose in the filter there is a special button. Finally it would be desirable to warn that if you plan to disable a firewall, then you should not do it in case the computer remains completely without anti-virus protection.
