The main thing why scientists need "god's particle" - to receive confirmation that the mankind moves in the right direction. It is clear, that the practical value of opening will be measured only for years: the particle in itself for people is senseless. There is a control over its existence far more important. Theoretically, if to learn "to avoid" this "braking" boson, then the mass of any body will be not simply reduced: it will disappear! On the contrary, creating this particle commercially, it is possible to create areas with the increased or lowered gravitation contrary to attraction forces habitual to us. It is clear, that the scope for use of similar opportunities is limited only to imagination. Besides, "хиггсоид" allows to create particles, new, earlier inaccessible for experiments, like of what anti-matter would consist. However, you should not force events: the theoretical physics "is a little far" from practice. The next few years after opening will be necessary only to describe a particle. And people will hardly learn to work with it within the next decades.
