One of the brightest impressions remaining after acquaintance to the Spanish culture — a bullfight. The show of opposition of the person and a huge bull — the torero and Thoreau — became also the reason of the birth of one of the brightest delusions connected with color perception of the four-footed victim of an effective and tragic show.

1. The settled and popular belief in irritant action of objects of red color on a bull is accepted to an axiom. However, it is about the statement stated outside scientific community. Researchers of features of sight of mammals with confidence say that animals in the majority are deprived fine, from the point of view of the person, ability to see the world around in bright paints.

And though in a scientific world there is also no unity, existence of points of intersection of views allows to speak about weak color sight at dogs, cats and some representatives of family of squirrel.
