There lives this animal in basins of the Azov, Black, Azov and Caspian seas. He can be met in Lake Balkhash and Kapchagay, in Amur River. There lives a sazan and in many reservoirs of Central Asia, in Western and Central Siberia and also on Kamchatka. Some forms prefer to live in one reservoir, others constantly migrate.
