1. For a start it is necessary to choose an aquarium. It is possible to get ready option in pet-shop. And it is possible to order the individual project which will ideally fit into your interior. Upon purchase pay attention to tightness. The best option – an integral aquarium as it is possible not to be afraid of a water leakage. If future house for small fishes represents several stuck together sheets of glass, you anyway need a pallet. Also examine an aquarium regarding marriage: cracks, scratches or any other shortcomings which can lead to sudden breakage.
2. In pet-shop buy special river sand for filling of aquariums. The amount of sand depends on tank volume, here you will be able to be helped by the selling assistant. For decoration of an aquarium it is possible to buy seashells and stones, the stylized jugs and other decorative things. If you want to plant living plants in an aquarium, you should not do it directly on river sand. Before fertilize the soil well boiled down peat, add river clay and already then plant seaweed. Many plants it is not required as they grow quickly and can fill with themselves all aquarium.
3. The vessel for small fishes needs to be filled with the filtered water (the usual water from under the crane which passed through the household filter will approach) or unboiled otstoyanny water (fishes do not take out chlorine). 5. Do not forget to buy a forage for your small fishes. The most widespread types: a crank, a Cyclops, water fleas, a trubochnik and a dry feed – it is possible to get all this in any pet-shop. Store it in the dry, dark and cool place that did not zapret and did not deteriorate.
6. The choice of small fishes of a specific type depends entirely on you. The most unpretentious aquarian inhabitants are guppies – little multi-colored small fishes. They do not need a large number of food and get on with other inhabitants. It is possible to get small fishes sword-bearers also. They have a pleasant black-red color, are very quiet, are not aggressive. Snails and a small catfish – besides decorative function will become good neighbors for small fishes, they will clean an aquarium from pollution. When choosing more exotic types find out whether special conditions and what neighbors can be settled to them are necessary to them.
