How to glue ears at a toy terrier

According to standards of breed the toy terrier has to have big and standing ears. If for any reason they at your pet cannot correctly get up in any way, you should glue them.

Instruction

1. Begin to glue ears to a toy terrier, only if by 3rd months they did not rise independently. If to your pet already more than 5 then to glue them it is almost useless as the frame was finally created. Apply and change bandages (time in 3-5 days) until correct posts of ears do not become constants.

2. Clean an internal surface of ears from sulfur and dirt. Prepare an adhesive plaster (width no more than 2 cm), an adhesive tape (width no more than 1.5 cm) and scissors. Find material for the tire: it has to be easy and strong (a piece of cardboard or the old plastic card).

3. Cut off a piece of a plaster about 4 cm long, having rounded off its tips. Impose it on ear inside so that the bottom edge was pasted 0.5-1 cm below than the line of a bend. Press a plaster to an ear, accurately smooth it with the massing movements.

4. Manufacture the tire. Take a piece of cardboard or the old plastic card and cut out a strip about 3-3.5 cm on length and 0.5 cm in width. Pay attention: length of the tire has to be less, than length of a piece of the plaster which is already glued in an ear. Surely round off the ends of this strip that they did not rub or did not injure a gentle thin skin.

5. Cut out one more piece of an adhesive plaster, it is less than that which was pasted in an ear earlier. Round off its tips. Take the prepared piece of cardboard or a card and impose it on the middle of the prepared plaster (on its sticky party). Putting the tire, consider that it is necessary to put it so that it was below the line of a bend on half-centimeter, but not below already pasted plaster, otherwise it will grate thin skin. Press it to an ear and carefully smooth with the massing movements.

6. In order that ears stood symmetrically, glue them an adhesive tape. Take an ear for a tip and slightly bring up him towards a puppy head up and aside. Turn an ear (when subbonding left – clockwise, right – against), twisting it in a tubule. Continue to hold during it it lifted and slightly tense. Wrap up an ear in an adhesive tape strip 2-3 times.

7. Do not wind an adhesive tape too hardly. However the tip of an ear has to stand exactly. If it was twisted aside, start everything anew. Weak ears are recommended to be stuck together an adhesive tape among themselves.
