5. Install the compressor out of an aquarium, according to recommendations. Do it so that water level was below the device. If you have no opportunity to install the device properly, then put the non-return valve on the compressor. It interferes with water ingress in the device. If the compressor is installed below water level in an aquarium, then liquid can get to the device that will lead to its failure.
