Fishes cannot eat long only a dry feed, and appetizing live worms not only attract genuine interest of them, but also considerably raise such indicators as fertility, life expectancy and the state of health. 1. Pay attention to quality of a trubochnik upon purchase. Worms have to be bright red color, to look mobile and not to have an unpleasant smell. Often inexperienced aquarians get in shops of already dead trubochnik or it which, despite of all tricks, needed to live very not for long. To avoid a similar mistake, always attentively check quality of a live forage and make sure that the trubochnik really fresh and will be able to live a long time at the correct storage.
2. Place a trubochnik in a container with a small amount of water. You watch that the live forage did not lie a thick layer as in this case the worms which are from below to choke with a lack of oxygen. The layer has to be not really big, but also not translucent. You stick to golden mean. From above fill in a trubochnik with a water layer 1-1.5 cm thick. It does not make sense a lot of water to pour, but also you should not dry up your trubochnik too. After the necessary ratio of water, a group of worms and depth of a container is found, place the precious cargo in the cool place. It is better that it was office of the fridge or a balcony. The main thing – that worms did not freeze, but also were not too active in heat.
3. As in the native habitat the trubochnik lives in flowing water, for normal activity he needs to change water constantly. Ideally – twice a day, but if you have no such opportunity, try to equip a container so that a part of water was periodically updated. Place a trubochnik in a basin with water and install over it the crane from which a squirt flowing water will arrive. As all live forage all the same is at the bottom, you should not worry that it will wash away it too much a basin, you can safely equip your improvised storage with the device for removal of surplus of water.
