The Arab horses, together with Russian riding and English, belong to the category of thoroughbred. It is one of the most ancient breeds which was removed in the 4-7th centuries in the territory of Arabian Peninsula. The Arab horses are appreciated their grace, a podzharost, leanness and ease and also, unfortunately, still continue to be used in professional and semi-professional competitions.
Characteristics of "Arabs"

Historians and professional manufacturers allocate four type, or an exterior, in breed of the Arab horses – a kokheylana, a siglava, a hadbana and a kokheylan-siglava. The most massive "Arabs" possessing very strong constitution and big endurance are usually ranked as the first type. Kokheylana – strong horses and excellent and fast racers. The most widespread color of these Arab horses – bay and red. Siglav are characterized by the average sizes and big external "elegance". They low growth, but are easy and quick in movements. The most frequent color for a siglava – gray. Hadbana is horses in whom an exit for an exterior of this breed is allowed, they are quite large and quick. Coloring, frequent for them, – red, gray and bay. The last type – kokheylan-siglav, combines both dry forms, and same "elegance" and also high growth. Their colors – red, gray and bay. "Arabs" won reputation of excellent racers, thanks to big endurance – in day they can move at distance up to 90-100 miles. Speed of the Arab horses was even included into many proverbs, sayings and familiar expressions. "Arabs" are still considered the best and popular racers in east world, and even the well-known akhaltekinets cannot compete with them.
