Cats are the animals having at the same time the advantage, grace and beauty. The three-colored cat among them keeps aloof. Similar the color meets not so often, to all other, it is shrouded in a mysteriousness aura.
Three-colored cats are usually spotty or to partial coloring. As a rule, at their skin white coloring with orange or black spots. The tortoise color is considered practically the same, however it not absolutely so: at "turtle" fur black-orange with white spots or without them, and at a three-colored cat primary color white. In understanding of the average citizen a tortoise cat or a cat, three-colored or three-wool – the same. It should be noted that the three-colored and tortoise color has no relation to cat breeds - it is only color of wool, no more.
Whether there are three-colored cats?Male three-colored individuals though it is very rare, but nevertheless are born. Researches according to which only one cat is the share of three thousand cats with a similar color were about it conducted. Here it is all about chromosomes which set at female and men's individuals is various. According to genetic to rules, for a male the chances to receive coloring with existence of three flowers are insignificant. And those exceptional cases when all this occurs, it is possible to regard as nature miracles. Owing to anomaly which is connected with presence at a genetic set of an excess chromosome such cats are sterile. It means that three-colored cats have no opportunity to continue a sort and to transfer to posterity a trekhsherstnost. Rare coloring can be transferred only in the female line. The cat has two X-chromosomes – XX, and for cats – one X and one Y. X-chromosome is responsible for emergence of a red and black color, and available other chromosome "is guilty" of a color of white color. At a cat because of existence of the XX chromosomes perhaps simultaneous emergence of a red and black color together with white. In a case with males one X-chromosome gives either a red color, or black. This feature also leads to the fact that the three-colored color generally meets not at cats, and at cats. Acquisition of a three-colored cat around the world is considered rare good luck.
Breeds of three-wool cats and cats
Three-colored cats a color can have different. However generally all of them are divided into two views. The first – a color under the name kaliko, in which the prevailing colors – black and red. Also at a color there are indistinct white spots, and silvery, smoky shades are absent. The second – a color the harlequin. Such animals almost completely white, only a small part of fur is painted in other color – usually it spots on a tail, a back or a muzzle. Not all cat's breeds can have among the representatives of three-hair. Generally such phenomenon meets at not purebred and at short-haired animals. To breed by selection of three-wool cats, and especially cats, it is almost impossible. Even among posterity of domestic three-wool cats it is difficult to predict appearance of three-colored kittens. Selectors are only capable to increase chances of the birth of such individuals, but the result will depend more on good luck.
